Crescent Overload is scheduled to be launched in 2025.
In June, we had the honor of covering indie developer and Twitter user log64's latest project, an upcoming 3D platformer that combines bullet hell and hack-and-slash elements and features fluid animation. Recently, the game development has seen some major milestones — it has received a Steam page with an official title and additional details, as well as a release window.
Titled Crescent Overload, the game is set in “a virtual cyberscape” where you control the protagonist AL.exe, who is equipped with the powerful Gear Scythe to traverse drives and mend a corrupted program. As you explore the cyber world, expect to encounter some enemies, secrets, and shortcuts.

The developer is also working to release a demo version before the end of the year. If you don’t want to miss out, follow the creator on Twitter to be informed when it’s ready, and don’t forget to hit the wishlist button on Steam, too.
