Unpossess is coming in January of 2025.
Chreseeba Games
Chreseeba Games, the solo developer behind Unpossess, an upcoming co-op exorcism simulator that we introduced back in July, has unveiled the release date and shared some new clips of the game. Let’s check them out.
In case you missed our earlier coverage, Unpossess is a multiplayer horror in the early 1900s, created using Unreal Engine 5. In the game, you play the role of an exorcist. The main goals evolve around cleaning the afflicted area, “capturing evidence, and conducting an exorcism ritual to free the possessed individual from demonic influence.”
The game allows you to customize your character for a personalized look. You can earn cosmetics as you progress through the game, along with new abilities to enhance your power.

Chreseeba Games has recently shared more of the clips from the game, showing scenes where you encounter a series of weird-acting people like a woman wearing a worn white dress floating in the air, a creepy young girl who can’t help shaking her head and screaming while you seem to be casting a spell to her, and a poor possessed little boy:
The game had its alpha testing done in October, which helped the developer gather feedback from players and improve the game based on them. The Early Access release has been scheduled for January 10, 2025, so it’ll be soon available in roughly a month. If you can’t wait to try out this horror with your friends, add the game to your wishlist on Steam and share it with friends so you can scream together.
