"We hear the feedback."

Starfield developer Bethesda is currently facing backlash due to the $7 mission from their recently released Creation Kit. Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard responded to unhappy players' feedback, stating that the studio "hears that feedback."
In case you missed the drama — just last week, Starfield introduced new Trackers Alliance missions via its Creation Kit. The issue arose when one of these missions, The Vulture, was only available as a Starfield Creation for $7, or rather $10, as 1,000 Starfield Creation Credits are required for purchase. This decision was met with criticism from players, as evidenced by numerous red thumbsdown reviews on Steam.

In an interview with YouTuber MrMattyPlays, Howard addressed the situation, stating, that's "not what we want at all." The studio aimed to "go the extra mile" by incorporating the Trackers Alliance outfit and weapon into a quest, rather than merely adding new cosmetics and hardware to the game. However, Howard acknowledged that this gave players the impression they were "chopping up" a faction and selling it for "700 credits at a time."
"And where we're not, hey, you know, we definitely will adjust...
I do think we're going to take a look at that and how we deliver content like that, and whether we're changing pricing or breaking it up, or what we should do there. So, great feedback from the community."
