In a recent post on Twitter, Ubisoft shared a long-awaited update on its troublesome project, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. Announced in 2020, the project initially generated interest as a remake of a beloved Ubisoft classic. However, the art direction faced criticism, leaving room for improvement. The game's development has encountered challenges, including delays and a shift in production to a Canadian studio. Since then, there has been a significant period of silence as the project essentially started over.

On November 21, Ubisoft came forward with some good news, which was a surprise since in May the development team informed everyone that they were still in the "conception" stage and that "players should not expect to hear more about the game this year". Well, we're glad that there is more news.

"As you know, the passionate team at Ubisoft Montreal is reimagining this legendary story, and we are glad to announce today that the project has passed an important internal milestone and development is progressing. We look forward to sharing more in the future," reads Ubisoft's update on Twitter.

Yesterday, we published an interview featuring Henry Bullingham, a Network Programmer at Ubisoft Toronto. In the interview, he discusses his participation in the Ubisoft Toronto NEXT Challenge, shares insights on securing a programming job, and highlights what distinguishes the studio's culture.
