A Co-Op PvE Game That Mixes FTL and Sea of Thieves

Take a look at a new demo of a Unity-powered game inspired by Sea of Thieves and Faster Than Light titled Hyperspace.

Imagine working Coffee Stain but then coming up with an idea for a co-op PvE game where you and your three friends become a crew of a spaceship to explore the unknown. You quit the job, choose a game engine (Unity, for example), and start the adventure. That's the story behind an upcoming cooperative game titled Hyperspace.

This one of the most beautiful Unity-powered games will let you control a ship, fight enemies, optimize energy flows, man turrets, explore derelict shipwrecks, and become a true space adventurer. We've already shared some WIP screenshots from the game made by Keepsake Games but this time the team shared a new demo providing a look at piloting a spaceship.

And here are some additional impressive demos:

The game is still in early development but the team regularly shares various screenshots and videos to give a taste of what they're cooking. "Spaceships are complicated machines that require several players to take on different roles, cooperating to operate successfully. At times you will need to dock with other ships, stations, or derelicts. During these parts, you will seamlessly be able to walk from the ship to these areas," wrote the team.

In case you missed it, back in April we had an interview with the team about the title and how the project came to be. You can find it here
