Bleakmill continues working on its unannounced Unreal Engine 5-powered game.
Today, let's revisit the yet-announced project from Bleakmill, the game development studio behind INDUSTRIA, and have a look at some of the incredible behind-the-scenes demos the team shared over the past few months.
For those unaware, the team's new game was first announced back in September 2023 with a short 5-second trailer and a blurry screenshot containing zero substantial info regarding the upcoming title. However, it was disclosed that the new game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and offers an experience akin to Valve's iconic Half-Life series, often described as "half-like" in the genre. Whether or not the new title is a sequel to INDUSTRIA remains unknown to this day.
Since then, the studio seems to have adopted this particular style of teaser trailers, regularly sharing similar concise demos alongside updates on the development. In these updates, Bleakmill described the project as a narrative half-like immersive simulator horror FPS, showcased the game's Hunt: Showdown-style shooting controls, demonstrated its physics-based mouse interactions with doors and physical objects, and revealed that the official announcement for the game would take place later in the year.
We highly encourage you to visit the team's Twitter pages and subscribe to its newsletter via the official website so as not to miss any future updates. Given that the new title is very likely to be INDUSTRIA 2, we also recommend checking out the original game on Steam.
