The trailer shows the upcoming "Soviet Bioshock's" weapons, abilities, and enemies.
Developer Mundfish, known primarily for their upcoming game Atomic Heart, an action RPG set in an alternate version of the 1950s Soviet Union, unveiled a new trailer for the game. The new flashy trailer showcases Atomic Heart's combat-related mechanics, some of the weapons the player will be able to use to destroy retrofuturistic robots, and shows a sizable list of newly-revealed enemies the player will encounter on their way, including various robots and cyborgs, mutants, and zombie-like lab monsters. Additionally, the trailer features a high-octane mashup of Soviet singer Alla Pugacheva's Starry Summer and heavy metal playing in the background, giving the combat and the game itself a truly unique feel.
"A system failure at Soviet Facility № 3826 leads machinery to rebel against the people. You are Major P-3, Private Agent, and your task is to minimize the consequences of this 'systems failure' and prevent the leakage of classified information," states the trailer's description. "To succeed, you'll have to do your homework and study every deadly foe to avoid becoming their next victim, for secret experiments have led to the emergence of terrifying mutants, implacable machines, and bloodthirsty creatures."
The game is set to be released in Q4 2022 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You can learn more about it here.
