Dragon Age Dreadwolf Early Footage & Gameplay Details Leaked

The game might be further away than we expect.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf might not launch as soon as we hope because it reportedly still lacks features and completed character lines and looks a lot like its multiplayer past.

According to Insider Gaming, the RPG will probably not come until next year, although earlier rumors mentioned 2023. Its source says that "the game felt a bit like Destiny with a central hub where players could probably regroup before heading into the next mission".

The hub is a place where your companions gather and can be assigned new equipment. The report says that you'll be able to move from your hub to missions through a mirrored portal.

The combat in the current state of the game is more hack and slash than in past titles of the series. For now, you can only select your teammates' spells and abilities but can't control them, although we expect it to change in the final version, naturally.

Interestingly, soon after the article from Insider Gaming was published, some gameplay footage and screenshots were leaked online, provided by an anonymous playtester who played the game in early alpha. The images fit the insiders' information pretty nicely and show parts of the Weisshaupt Fortress, the Grey Wardens' headquarters, a fight with the darkspawn, and the inventory.

The images look legit, although BioWare is yet to comment on them.
