Empire of the Ants: A UE5-Powered Strategy About Saving a Doomed Ant Colony

The game is based on Bernard Werber’s eponymous book and is set to release in 2024.

Microids, a French game development and publishing studio, has unveiled Empire of the Ants, an upcoming strategy adventure based on Bernard Werber's eponymous book. Being developed by Tower Five with Unreal Engine 5, the game will put you in the shoes of Ant Savior, tasked to save a doomed ant colony through adventure-filled exploration, strategic battles, and alliances made with other wildlife species.

Moreover, the creators commented that seasons and the time of day affect the game's environments and gameplay mechanics, forcing you to adapt to the harshness of the photorealistic forest in which the story of Empire of the Ants takes place.
