The new installment will bring improvements to almost every aspect of the visuals.
God of War Ragnarök is around the corner, and many are wondering what the PlayStation 5 version will look like. No need to worry: despite the game originally being developed for PS4, the latest Sony console will bring enhanced graphics, according to the video made by ElAnalistaDeBits where they compare Ragnarök with the PC version of God of War 2018.
The creator used Ultra graphics setting for the older game, and you can see that Ragnarök is better in nearly every aspect, including snow deformation and physics overall: you can even cut down branches from trees if you so desire.
The textures and models are more detailed, as expected from the new game.
The most glaring difference is the lighting: it's obviously better and more natural than in the first game. Improved shadows add realism to the atmosphere.
Another YouTube creator, Nick930, also compared the games, including their gameplay and sound:
God of War Ragnarök is coming to PS4 and PS5 on November 9.
