A new story trailer reveals Kratos and Atreus's struggles in the upcoming God of War Ragnarök. The video combines gameplay footage and cinematics to capture the changing dynamic of their relationship as they prepare for war. While Atreus tries to help his father grasp the prophecy of “Loki”, Kratos struggles to free himself from the past and be the father his son needs.
God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The new chapter sees the return of Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield alongside a variety of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. Kratos's skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across Nine Realms to protect his family.
