The demo version of Khena B's Unreal-powered VR game Subside is just around the corner.
If you've been following 80 Level for some time, chances are you've already heard of Subside, a highly anticipated underwater exploration VR game developed by Khena B using Unreal Engine. Recently, the developer made an exciting announcement, teasing the impending release of the long-awaited experience's demo version.
Instead of sinister sharks, eerie eels, and tasty trouts, Khena's latest Saturday Screenshot showcase for Subside featured a rubber duck, exhibiting lifelike physics and behavior when submerged underwater. Alongside the showcase, the developer revealed that the demo version of Subside is almost ready, suggesting that players will soon be able to experience an early glimpse of the game's gorgeous underwater world themselves.
Unfortunately, no specific release dates have been revealed, with neither Khena's Twitter page nor Subside's Steam page offering any additional information. As it stands, the only release window we have is the year 2024, which is when the final version of the game is likely to be released.
With the release of the game's demo version being just around the corner, we recommend checking out some of Khena's earlier gameplay showcases, captured on the RTX 3070 GPU, to get acquainted with Subside's aquatic environments and creatures that inhabit them:
