Kouji Tajima explored NPR workflows with his latest piece.
Digital Sculptor and Senior Concept Artist at ILM Kouji Tajima has recently stepped away from his realistic-looking 3D beasts to explore NPR workflows, unveiling a stunning new full-body character model created entirely on an iPad.
Depicting an old man in the style of a traditional Japanese painting, the artist's latest model was sculpted using Nomad, a sculpting and painting application for iOS and Android devices. Additionally, Kouji employed Procreate, a raster graphics editor app for digital painting, to set up the manga-like material for the character.
