LogInIt seems that half of the CDPR's forces are thrown at the new game.

CD Projekt Red announced a new installment in The Witcher series almost two years ago, saying that the new title will "kick off a new saga for the franchise." A month later, in May 2022, the company gave an update that the game finished the research phase and entered pre-production.
Since October 2022, when CDPR said that The Witcher 4, codenamed Polaris, wouldn't come out in the next three years, the company stayed quite silent and didn't provide much information.
Recently, IGN has noted CDPR's Q3 2023 earnings, which shed more light on the project's current state. It appears that the game is in the full development phase with over 300 creators working on it.
"The team is steadily growing, having reached almost 330 developers at the end of last month. It's expected to grow to over 400 by mid-next year,” said Adam Kiciński during the company's Q3 earnings conference.
Besides the expanding team assigned to the Witcher sequel, CD Projekt is also simultaneously working on other The Witcher projects. These include Project Serius, developed by the formerly indie studio, The Molasses Flood, acquired by CDPR last year, and a remake of Geralt's initial Witcher adventure, scheduled for release after Polaris.

The podcast offers a wide range of topics, such as production, programming, art, and narrative.
