"Psycho-Thriller" Puzzle Game Will Lure You into Circus

REVEIL has a release date and clowns.

Clowns are creepy, I think many readers will agree with me. It's fascinating how something meant to make children happy can be terrifying for adults. I don't like circuses in general, and the game I'm going to tell you about supports my distaste, and this is probably why you should play it when it comes out on March 6.

REVEIL is a "psycho-thriller" game that focuses on the story, puzzles, and exploration, full of "mentally challenging" experiences and dark pasts. You play as Walter Thompson, who wakes up one day with no memories, wife, and daughter.

"What happened last night? Why can't you think of any other thing aside from your days as a stage builder at the circus?

"As things get crazier and more bizarre, the lines between reality, memory, and imagination become more and more blurred and you realize: there is no going back. You have to do whatever it takes to bring this story to an end, no matter at what cost..."

You need to explore your environment, collect memories, and figure out what happened to your family and the circus you used to work at. The puzzles you encounter may challenge your mind but provide answers at the same time. Recover what's missing and don't lose yourself in the process.

Here is what REVEIL has to offer:

  • A deeply psychological experience that will keep you questioning everything.
  • Five playable acts in different, carefully designed environments.
  • First-person narrative experience including:
  • Various puzzles and riddles
  • Beautiful and immersive visual experience #madewithunity
  • Multi-layered narrative with psychedelic, biographical and disturbing elements
  • Atmospheric paintings, posters, writings referring to the circus era of the 60s.
