Sceneri Unveils Its Comprehensive Guide for New Users

The purpose of this guide is to provide developers with a walkthrough of Sceneri's onboarding process, ensuring a smooth game creation experience.

The Sceneri team has recently shared a step-by-step guide for the creators to start building the games. The developers mention that no extended coding skills will be needed to make the game on the platform. Let's have a look at the key steps in the onboarding process.

Step 1: Download Sceneri

If you haven't already, sign up for the Beta, and you'll receive a download link for your preferred platform shortly after. While the solution is currently optimized for iOS devices, the team is working on expanding to more platforms soon.

Step 2: Check out the Explore page and Sample Projects

In the next step, the developers may choose their preferred avatar and explore various sections of its interface. The Explore page provides access to trending creators, sample projects, community-recommended games, and more.

Step 3: Complete the Interactive Onboarding Tutorial

Sceneri offers an interactive onboarding level designed to teach users the basic movement and mechanics of the application. Users will interact with basic components found within all generic platformers such as coins, bridges, moving platforms, and ending flags in order to complete a level.

Step 4: Expand your Knowledge with the Documentation

After that, the creators may increase the learning potential with Sceneri's comprehensive documentation which includes detailed patch notes and updates, step-by-step guides, and tutorials.

Step 5: Join the Sceneri Community

Become part of the supportive Sceneri community by following the team on social media or joining the official Discord.

Step 6: Bring Your Vision to Life

Put your newfound knowledge to use and start creating your first project. Select a game concept, explore the extensive asset library, and build your game world.

Step 7: Practice, Practice, Practice

By utilizing the remixing tools and engaging in testing and iteration, users can enhance the quality of their projects. They can identify and address any bugs or issues and leverage the feedback from the Sceneri community to further improve their game.

Step 8: Publish and Share Your Creation

With just one tap, you can share your completed game with the world in seconds. By allowing others to play, give feedback, and even remix your creation, you can hone your skills as a game developer.
