During Xbox Developer Direct 2024, which took place yesterday, we not only had a chance to have a first look at the gameplay of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle but also got a release date for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.

At the conference, Ninja Theory also presented gameplay footage of the action-adventure game, featuring intense battles and explorations of visually stunning yet somber locations. Besides, the developer shared that Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is currently in the final stages of production.

Set in the 10th century, the story of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II follows the warrior Senua as she confronts Viking invaders who have attacked her village on the shores of Iceland. Melina Juergens, the leading actress, shared that her character has undergone significant personal growth since the events of the first game, accepting her lover's loss.

"You can once again expect to join Senua in understanding her world through perception puzzles led by her experiences of psychosis, in brutal and visceral combat, and in traversal gameplay, this time across the harsh but beautiful landscapes of 10th Century Iceland," as reads the Xbox blog post. "Crucially, all these elements are intertwined in a unique visual and audio experience, where everything is in service of Senua's story."

The game is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC on May 21, 2024, and it'll be a digital-only release, priced at $49.99. As for now, you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
