This Spider-Man-Style Game Prototype Can Now Be Legally Released

Marvel-ous.

gibb0, a brilliant 3D Artist and Game Developer who has spent the past few years creating an Unreal Engine-powered Spider-Man-style traversal game prototype in collaboration with 3D Animator Sarp Serter, has recently taken to Twitter to make an exciting announcement and reveal that the demo version of the highly anticipated game can now be legally released.

According to the developer, the main character's model has been completely overhauled and now has little in common with Friendly Neighborhood, and since the act of swinging on sticky ropes cannot be copyrighted, neither Marvel nor Disney should now have any legal issues with gibb0's fan-made game.

Alongside the announcement, the creator also shared an action-packed, high-octane demo, embedded above, offering a look at the protagonist's new appearance and showing them navigating an early blockout of what appears to be New York in a stylish manner using a manhole cover and webs sticky ropes.

Recently, gibb0 also showcased a couple of projects inspired by Wolverine from X-Men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
