More updates about Highland Keep are coming soon, according to Kacper Szwajka.
Kacper Szwajka, a Technical Artist and Game Developer who earlier shared a wealth of insights on procedural object placement in Unity, has returned after a brief hiatus to present the main menu he developed for Highland Keep, an upcoming "The Forest meets Stronghold Crusader" survival-strategy game that combines third-person combat with classic RTS castle-building.
Leveraging his experience as a Tech Artist, Kacper approached this part of the game creatively by setting up an entire Unity-powered 3D world for the menu, rather than a traditional 2D background, achieving the result that looks stunning from a certain angle but is just as captivating from the in-production perspective. Additionally, the developer explained his absence by saying he's "been busy with development and managing project finances" and reassured that the project's development is progressing well, with more updates set to arrive in the near future.
