Tutorial: Texturing Realistic Wooden Barrel In Substance 3D Painter

Javad Rajabzade released a new video and a pack of 30 high-detail and completely customizable smart materials.

Javad Rajabzade, known for his expertise in crafting incredibly realistic 3D props and materials, has just released a new comprehensive, hour-long tutorial on Substance 3D Painter. In this video, he demonstrates how to texture a realistic, weathered wooden barrel from scratch, explaining the process in a way that caters to both experienced artists and beginners looking to master texturing and add realistic details to 3D models.

To go along with the tutorial, Javad has also released a pack of 30 high-detail, fully customizable wood smart materials (SPSM). These materials are designed for easy use with a drag-and-drop feature and with high-quality previews. Each layer is properly named and color-coded, ensuring organization. The materials are lightweight and created entirely in Substance 3D Painter, checked with the PBR validator for accuracy, and are compatible with Substance 3D Painter version 9.1.0 and higher. Custom shelf previews are also included.
