You're Gonna Love This Diegetic Map System Created For a Game

Developer Ernest Anpilov showcased a cool gameplay feature coming to BECROWNED, a Silent Hill-style survival horror game.

Indie Game Developer Ernest Anpilov continues working on BECROWNED, an upcoming Silent Hill-style survival horror game with retro graphics, showcasing an awesome new gameplay feature created for it.

As showcased in Ernest's latest devlog demo, BECROWNED is set to include a diegetic local map system, cleverly stylized as one of the entries in the protagonist's diary. As you explore the eerie locations, the player character will dynamically map out the discovered rooms and halls, enhancing the immersivity factor of the experience to unprecedented heights.

Earlier, the developer also showcased a cool interactive radio gameplay feature also set to be present in the release version of BECROWNED:
