You should listen to Alexei Kolb's DIY sounds.
Concept artist Alexei Kolb, also known as munsplit, presented an awesome folding pistol animation that might capture your attention for a while.
The weapon, modeled in Plasticity and animated in Blender, looks and functions a lot like a shotgun, aside from the sounds it makes, created by the artist himself with what he had at home. Despite their DIY nature, the gun's clicks are impressively delicious.
According to Kolb, the texturing was done "in a couple of minutes," while the animation with rigging took 2-3 hours. Overall, the whole design process from the start to the renders took 25 hours.
If you wish to learn how to take your Plasticity skills to the next level and make a gun like this, you can buy Kolb's tutorial on ArtStation.
