Check Out This Free Train Kit with Nearly 50 Models

Renowned asset creator and game developer, Kenney "KenneyNL" Vleugels, is offering a free Train Kit, which includes 45 models of different trains, passenger cars, freight cars, and steam locomotives, including as well as tracks for use with splines. KenneyNL stated that these cartoonish 3D assets are "free to use, in any project, by anyone."

This isn't KenneyNL's first time offering free-to-use game assets. Last year, we reported on a free tool he created for building stylized cities in Godot. In addition to creating assets, KenneyNL is a game developer, known for games like Pixross and Frick, Inc. which are available on Steam. His upcoming project, MakeRoom, is a casual building game that lets players create their own miniature dioramas, with a demo currently available on Steam.

Speaking of MakeRoom, the game exceeds in cuteness as you can tell from the demo, yet another game seemed to have been too “inspired” by it to the extent of copying elements from it.
