Footage of Combat With Snake-Shaped Monster from an Action RPG Made With Unity

The developer of The Milk Lake showcased more demos from the game.

The Milk Lake is an upcoming atmospheric sword-combat action RPG with horror and stealth elements developed with Unity. Our previous coverage talked about its feature of trees turning transparent when blocking the player's view of the protagonist, Emmer, and how the smooth and natural movement that impressed many was created.

Although we already learned that the game will feature dangerous and large Shadow of the Colossus-esque baddies, it's still surprising to see the showcase of a fierce fight between Emmer and a "danger noodle" shared by the developer Boltzmann Games.

The helpless protagonist tries to shake off and defend herself against the giant snake-shaped creature, which has a bloody mouth that occasionally opens to yell and try to swallow Emmer. The camera shaking, along with the glittering torch flame, makes the combat feel even more intense.

It's unclear yet if the formidable creature is the dragon that burnt down Emmer's home, as mentioned in the introduction, an event that makes her embark on the journey to revenge.

Besides this new level, the designer also posted more demos to show a more progressed game, including a desert environment with stunning sand effect, improved cloak physics that makes the journey in the desert harsher, as well as some spelunking and scrambling:

If you haven't wishlisted the game, here's the link to its Steam page. Also, join our 80 Level Talent platform and our new Discord server, follow us on InstagramTwitterLinkedInTelegramTikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
