Improbable and Crytek have shared a new blog post which discusses how the companies are partnering to set up a fully-featured Game Development Kit for CRYENGINE and Improbable’s SpatialOS multiplayer game networking platform for its forthcoming titles. This is said to make SpatialOS an option for developers using CRYENGINE, and highlight Crytek and Improbable’s shared commitment to interoperability.

This Game Development Kit will enable let developers using CRYENGINE take advantage of the next-generation possibilities for prototyping, innovating, building and managing multiplayer online games provided by SpatialOS, from session-based deathmatch to huge persistent worlds.
