Jordan Mochi Provides an Update on the Current State of CONSCRIPT

The developer has published a new devlog, providing a summary of the 2023 progress and sharing lots of new screenshots.

Solo Game Developer Jordan Mochi has recently published a new devlog, delivering a long-awaited update on the current state of CONSCRIPT, the developer's isometric survival horror set during the WWI-era.

Providing a summary of the 2023 progress, the developer elaborated on the recent social media silence, saying that the main goal right now is to spend time finishing the game, working 10-12 hours a day. Moreover, Jordan commented on CONSCRIPT's marketing campaign in 2021 and 2022, noting that balancing "promotion and development as a one-man team was very exhausting".

Furthermore, the developer also announced that he is in "late stage negotiations with one of the leading publishers in the world" to allow him to focus more on the development itself, attributing the decision to team up with a publisher to the fact that the game had passed 70,000 wishlists on Steam.

Additionally, Jordan revealed the approximate length of CONSCRIPT, saying that "the game will be six chapters long, with most of the six chapters taking place in a completely new area. The 2022 demo contained chapter 1, which is the shortest chapter, and also around a third of chapter 2. So hopefully this gives you an idea of the scope of the game compared to the demo."

As a bonus, the developer has also shared tons of new screenshots, showing how the game looks at the moment:
