The release brings USD file compatibility, an experimental connector for NVIDIA Omniverse, and several workflow improvements.
CLO Virtual Fashion has announced the release of Marvelous Designer 12.1, a small update to their renowned 3D clothing design software. Enhancing the tool's compatibility and improving its workflows, the release brings the option to import or export Marvelous Designer files in the Universal Scene Description (USD) format and introduces a new connector plug-in for NVIDIA's Omniverse platform, currently in beta.
Additionally, MD 12.1 comes with the ability to drag and drop a background image from the explorer window to the 2D window, a new shortcut that allows one to easily switch between the current window and the selected window, and the Show Statistic option that shows various information regarding the garment you are working on.
