Check Out a Cool "Zombifier" Solution Created With Blender

Powered by Geometry Nodes, the tool lets one turn 3D models into zombies.

3D Artist and an avid Blender enthusiast 平の字, whom you might already know for their awesome environment art projects, has recently showcased a neat self-made solution that, if released, would let one easily summon hordes of undead to their 3D scenes.

Powered by Blender's Geometry Nodes toolset, the artist's procedural tool enables the user to easily "zombify" any 3D model by applying stylized PEGI 7-like gore to their surfaces, such as exposed blood vessels, flesh wounds, and gray skin. As demonstrated in the demo below, the tool is highly customizable and even supports the zombification of textured models:

At the moment, it is unclear when and if the solution will ever be released to the public. 平の字 themselves notes that they are working on a book about Blender's Geometry Nodes, and if all goes well and the book gets published, the details of the zombie generator setup will be included in it. We highly encourage you to follow the creator on Twitter to see more of 平の字's amazing works.
