Create Procedural Crowds of People With This Cool Blender Add-on

Difffuse Studio's Procedural Crowds Pro introduces new crowd types and allows you to tweak each character model independently.

Difffuse Studio has launched Procedural Crowds Pro, a new and improved version of their popular Geometry Nodes-powered add-on for Blender that enables you to quickly and easily populate your 3D environments with sizeable groups of characters.

Featuring over 30 unique photoscanned character models, the plug-in allows you to generate and customize various types of crowds, with options including an audience crowd, a circle crowd, follow curve, a marching formation, a random crowd, and more. The animations of the human characters will vary depending on the type of crowd you choose, including Idle, Walk, or Cheering. Moreover, the toolset also includes a neat feature that lets you add individual human characters and assign animations from a pre-defined list.

The newly released Pro version of Procedural Crowds introduces two brand-new crowd types, Groups and Random Paths, adds more control over each of the models in the crowd, giving the user the ability to tweak the model or rotate it on any axis individually, and brings a new Teams tool that allows you to assign a main color to the models' clothing.

Additionally, the expanded version features Complements, an advanced tool for adding variations to the same model. By assigning a vertex group to part of the mesh, you can create variations like hats or other accessories, with the option to assign up to two complements.

"Before installing Procedural Crowds Pro, uninstall the standard Procedural Crowds if you have it installed and restart Blender, or otherwise install the latest version 2.2.0 of Procedural Crowds to avoid conflicts with the Pro version," comments the team.
