Andrea Buitrago's first time using the software.
We're used to seeing the 2D side of The Powerpuff Girls as simple chibis, but what if you add some definition and even more character to them? That's what Gbodi Ahmadu did in his concept art and Andrea Buitrago completed in her 3D take.
Even if you have never seen the cartoon, you can guess what to expect from these girls in Buitrago's ZBrush and Blender lines. This is her first time using Blender, by the way – truly impressive. The artist created the brush strokes using the Fresnel mode combined with Grease Pencil.
Before Blender, Buitrago primarily used ZBrush with Maya and Substance 3D Painter. You can see her works on ArtStation.
Need more Powerpuff Girls? We have some: realistic takes on Mojo Jojo and Buttercup as well as the classic look.
