Cimo Lai has expanded his portfolio with new artwork and shared a breakdown of creating it.
Cino Lai, a Technical Artist at Adobe Substance 3D, showcased a new amazing artwork depicting highly realistic embroidery and shared a breakdown of its creation.
According to the artist, the workflow is centered around the Substance 3D ecosystem. Cino Lai utilized Substance 3D Sampler, Substance 3D Painter, Substance 3D Designer, and Substance 3D Stager. Along with this, software such as Blender and Photoshop were also used in the workflow.
"With the embroidery filter of Sampler, now everyone can automatically generate various complex embroidery materials in a short time," Cino Lai shared. "Besides, some complex details can be added more flexibly by combining Painter and Designer. Finally, the rendering is completed in Stager."
