Farming Simulator 22 Has Sold Over 3 Million Copies

Developer and publisher GIANTS Software announced that Farming Simulator 22 sales have surpassed 3 million copies. To celebrate the milestone, GIANTS has released a new “Accolades for Farming Simulator 22” trailer with comments from various publishing platforms and communities.

GIANTS Software CEO Christian Ammann commented: "I’d like to thank our community. Our modders, influencers, gamers, and partners. All those who play a role in sustaining our growing ecosystem. We are excited to embrace new opportunities and projects in 2022 – with new content to extend the experience of simulated agriculture and Farming Simulator 22.”

The game was launched in November 2021 and has sold over 3 million copies in just nine weeks. In December 2021, it was reported that Farming Simulator 22 sales had hit more than 1.5 million copies within the first week since the release.

According to Ammann, more content that will "extend the experience of simulated agriculture and Farming Simulator 22" will be coming for the game, including the Year One Season Pass featuring free updates. The first update with three new brands, 16 machines, and other game features, is already available to download. The pass will also include a major expansion with a new map that will launch this fall.

Farming Simulator 22 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia.
