The Early Access launch is on the horizon.
As reported in September last year, Hades II's Early Access was scheduled for Q2 2024, with a technical test planned before the release. Staying true to its timeline, the technical test is now open for signups.

The Hades II technical test aims to identify and rectify any potential technical glitches to ensure a seamless gaming experience from the outset. The developer has reminded that the test has "much less content" than the full launch.
The initial group of participants will be small, with the player population set to gradually increase. The developers assure that even if players aren't invited to the test immediately, they may receive an invite later.

Regarding the duration of the test, which could impact the release time of the game as the Early Access launch will follow the conclusion of the technical test, the developers state:
"The nature of the Test is such that we don't know exactly how long it will last, though our estimate is 'longer than a week, shorter than a month."

The original Hades, an award-winning roguelike dungeon crawler released over three years ago, boasts an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' review status on Steam, with a remarkable score of 98.
The much-anticipated sequel, Hades II, first announced in TGA 2022 and it is set to enhance the iconic aspects of the original game. Described by its developer, Supergiant Games, as an "action-packed, endlessly replayable experience rooted in the Underworld of Greek myth and its deep connections to the dawn of witchcraft," this sequel carries high expectations.
