The Game Developers Conference presents an all-digital showcase for developers around the world to network, connect and learn. The GDC Showcase will be held on June, 27-29.
The organizers of the Game Developers Conference, will host the virtual GDC Showcase on June 27-29, 2023. June 27 and 28 will feature past GDC session highlights as well as all-new pre-recorded sessions with live speaker Q&As in the chat, live fireside chats, and insights from some of the top companies in the industry. The last day, June 29 will be a full day of interactive roundtables and networking opportunities.
Some of these iconic sessions include Classic Game Postmortem presentations that delve into the creation of Fallout, Out of This World/Another World, Cyberpunk 2077 and Lemmings. Attendees will have ample opportunity to actively engage with speakers through live Q&As or text chat at each session. True to the legacy of GDC, Showcase content covers the core pillars of game development including Advocacy, Design, Programming, Audio, Business & Marketing, Production & Team Leadership and Visual Arts. GDC Showcase will explore the current state of game development, as well as provide insight into tried-and-true best practices and the future of the industry. The event will bring the development community together to enjoy these key features of GDC in an accessible format.
With one session hosted at a time, GDC Showcase will give each participant an opportunity to view the entire breadth of content presented at the virtual event. The event features networking sessions to foster deeper connections with participants through a specialized video and virtual networking platform. Interactive after-hours entertainment will also be available to connect and engage in a more casual and fun way. The session content will also be available on-demand through Friday, July 14. On-demand content features captions for English, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin.
