Learning World Building in UE5 with Narwhal Studios

The Narwhal Studios team in collaboration with CG Pro has launched a brand-new course. Let's have a quick glimpse at it.

"Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or seasoned pro, from VFX artists and game developers to architects, supervisors, and filmmakers, this course has something for everyone who's eager to dive into the world of virtual production and worldbuilding. We're excited to announce a collaborative course with our partners at CG Pro where you'll learn the very same worldbuilding techniques used in The Lion King, Jungle Book, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett.", says the Narwhal Studios team.

This 8-week course is mentored by Edward Dawson co-founder at CG Pro, and Dallas Drapeau, a Senior Environment Artist at Narwhal Studios.

The Narwhal Studios is a long-time contributor to The Mandalorian series. The Virtual Art Department team of 22, led by VAD Consultant Safari Sosebee and VAD Supervisor Matan Abel, collaborated closely with Lucasfilm's production designer Andrew Jones and Co-Producer/Virtual Production Supervisor Clint Spillers to create the stunning sets that fans have come to expect from this vast universe. The scope of work spanned virtual set design in Unreal Engine to photogrammetry asset capture and processing.

Students enrolled in this new course will have a unique opportunity to gain insight and invaluable advice from artists who have worked on The Mandalorian series and other numerous titles. The course offers a rare chance to receive feedback directly from these industry professionals, providing an unparalleled educational experience for aspiring artists.
