The trailer shows us an epic battle between the forces of Lord of Decay and the Dark Prince, who are fighting over new worshippers.
Yesterday the developer Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA released a new trailer for their upcoming strategy game Total War: Warhammer III. This time, we are introduced to the repulsive hordes of Warhammer's god of disease, decay, despair, death, and destruction Nurgle fighting with the armies of Dark Prince Slaanesh.
The cinematic looks very cool and atmospheric and definitely pushes forward the game's hype train, according to many fans in the video's comment section.
This is how the developers describe the upcoming game:
"Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it. To relinquish your soul to it. To become it.
The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.
