Hidden Altar was inspired by an exploration of PCG functions within Unreal Engine. The primary objective was to construct a natural environment using procedural tools, enabling the swift creation of diverse landscapes with varying shapes and appearances.

"In the initial stages, I drew inspiration from the natural cenotes in Mexico. However, as the project progressed, I leaned more towards the concept of creating something open and massive. Given my enduring appreciation for Japanese culture and landscapes, I decided to infuse a twist by incorporating references, placing an altar at the center to serve as a hidden focal point, and concluding this 3D piece," stated the artist.

This breathtaking environment integrates advanced features such as Lumen and Nanite within the production engine, along with assets from Megascans. To facilitate character animation, the creator used Rokoko. Now, with the aspiration of offering a real-time, immersive experience to audiences worldwide, the artwork is ready to be explored!
