Meet the top 5 semi-finalists and their extraordinary masterpiece projects.
The 80 Level Community Metasites Challenge attracted over 300 participants from diverse corners of the globe. The challenge invited creators from around the world to craft innovative, groundbreaking Unreal Engine experiences, pushing artistic and storytelling boundaries for the chance to win rewards and feature their work on 3D Metasites by the 80 Level Platform. The top 5 semi-finalists and their outstanding masterpieces have now been revealed.
Evaluation Criteria:
Artists were challenged to start with a basic blockout level, incorporating initial game mechanics using Unreal Engine. Tasks included designing a boss fight with a voracious swirling monster, as well as developing mechanics for opening doors, collecting power-ups, and earning a final reward.
Projects were rigorously evaluated based on innovation and creativity, aesthetics, and execution. The participants demonstrated remarkable effort and contribution to the challenge, marking the official launch of the first challenge from 80.lv.

Each semi-finalist is set to receive 1-Year KIRI Engine Pro Memberships and 1 month of free PRO for all challenge semi finalists from Sketchfab.
