Unity-Based Physically-Aware Audio in Virtual Reality

The setup was developed by MajorMcDoom for a WiP proof-of-concept VR project.

VR Developer and Engineer Zi has recently shared a new demo for a WiP proof-of-concept VR project, demonstrating an amazing physically-aware audio system developed for the upcoming game. Powered by Unity, the system allows for some realistic audio interactions between objects, depending on their levels of hardness. According to the developer, the demonstrated version of the system will likely be tweaked and refined sometime in the future and will feature more material audio interactions.
