This Fan-Made Spider-Man Game Gets an Updated Web Swinging Mechanic

gibb0 has offered one more look at their WIP Unreal-powered Spidey experience.

3D Artist and Game Developer known online as gibb0 continues working on their upcoming fan-made Spider-Man game, presenting an updated web-swinging mechanic with a brand-new gameplay demo shared on Twitter.

In the past, we already covered gibb0's WIP Spidey experience on several occasions, highlighting the amazing gameplay mechanics the developer regularly adds to the game. For those unfamiliar, the project has been in development for nearly four years, with the first tweet showcasing a web-swinging system created for the game dating back to May 2020. The project is being created in collaboration with Animator Sarp Serter, who is responsible for animating Spider-Man, and is powered by Unreal Engine.

Throughout the development process, gibb0 has been teasing the project every once in a while with awesome gameplay showcases. The latest example demonstrated that the player can now swing along the ground, making the experience's take on Spidey's main traversal method even more exciting than it was before. You can check out the full demo attached above or by visiting the developer's Twitter page.
