Check Out a Detailed 3D Scene That Sends You Back to Late 1980s

Glen Fox's latest environment features dozens of details and easter eggs, all made by hand.

Glen Fox, an experienced 3D Artist specializing primarily in stylized digital environments, has really one-upped himself with his latest project that can instantly send your mind back to 1988, regardless of whether you were born then or not.

Check out FF7_MSDOS.EXE, an absolutely marvelous 3D scene depicting a typical teenager's room in the late 1980s and featuring countless intricate details and hidden easter eggs that perfectly capture the atmosphere of the era and immerse you even deeper into the environment. According to the author, all the assets and materials featured in the scene were created by hand using Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Substance 3D Designer. The environment itself was assembled in Unreal Engine.
